The Ministry of Railways has officially declared the RRB NTPC CEN 05/2024 CBT 2 result for graduate level posts. This result is also known as the RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 result. It was announced on Monday, December 15, 2025. Candidates who appeared in the second stage Computer Based Test can now check their result on the official websites of their respective Railway Recruitment Boards.
RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Exam Details
The RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 exam was conducted on October 13, 2025. This was the second stage of the selection process under CEN 05/2024. The exam was held for candidates who were shortlisted after the CBT 1 exam. The CBT 1 exam took place from June 5 to June 23, 2025, at multiple exam centres across India.
Only those candidates who qualified in CBT 1 were allowed to appear in CBT 2. The CBT 2 exam tested candidates on subjects relevant to Non Technical Popular Categories graduate level posts.
RRB NTPC CEN 05/2024 CBT 2 Result Status
The CBT 2 result has now been uploaded on the official RRB websites along with regional RRB portals. Along with the result PDF, the Railway Recruitment Board has also released the category wise cut off marks. Candidates need to check their roll number in the result list to confirm whether they are shortlisted.
The result list contains roll numbers of candidates who have provisionally qualified for the next stage of the selection process.
How to Check RRB NTPC Graduate CBT 2 Result
Candidates can follow these steps to check the result.
First, visit the official RRB website such as rrbbilaspur.gov.in.
Next, click on the Result option available on the homepage.
Then, find the link related to RRB NTPC Graduate CEN 05/2024 CBT 2 result.
Open the result PDF and search your roll number in the list.
If your roll number is present, you are shortlisted for the next stage.
Candidates should also download and save the result PDF for future reference.
Cut Off Marks Released
Along with the CBT 2 result, the Railway Recruitment Board has released the cut off marks. The cut off varies according to category and region. These marks are based on performance in CBT 2. Only candidates scoring above the cut off have been shortlisted for further stages.
Next Stage After CBT 2 Result
Candidates who have qualified in CBT 2 will now appear for the CBAT or TST. CBAT stands for Computer Based Aptitude Test. TST stands for Typing Skill Test. These tests are mandatory for certain NTPC graduate level posts.
According to the official notice, candidates have been shortlisted based on merit in CBT 2. Category wise shortlisting is done provided the candidate also scored above the CBT 1 cut off for their community.
The CBAT and TST are tentatively scheduled in the fifth week of December 2025. Detailed schedules will be released separately by the RRBs.
RRB NTPC Vacancies and Posts
Through CEN 05/2024, the Railway Recruitment Board aims to fill a total of 8,113 vacancies. These vacancies are for graduate level NTPC posts. Popular posts include Chief Commercial cum Ticket Supervisor, Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Clerk cum Typist.
Age Limit Information
As per the official notification, candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 36 years old as on January 1, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per RRB rules. Detailed eligibility conditions are available in the CEN 05/2024 notification.
Candidates who have qualified should now focus on preparing for the CBAT or TST. Regularly checking the official RRB website is advised for updates related to exam dates and admit cards.
